Accounts Payable Administrator

Accounts Payable Administrator Julius Clinical Research is an academic clinical research organization (ARO) and an independent subsidiary of the University Medical Center Utrecht. Purpose of the function: The goal of the function is to provide administrative support to the Head of Accounting in order to ensure effective, efficient, complete and accurate financial and administrative operations.   Tasks & Responsibilities: Processes and monitors (international) payments and expenditures; Processes credit card expenditures; Performs the day to day processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure that municipal finances are maintained in an effective, up-to-date and accurate manner; Maintains a filing system for all financial documents; Prepares payments in the online banking system; Maintains the petty cash and cash vouchers administration; Answers questions from vendors, suppliers and employees regarding payments. Job requirements: Higher level of education in a (financial) administrative field; At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role is preferable; Adequate command of written and spoken Dutch and English; Strong verbal communication skills; Proactive working attitude; Experience with foreign payments; Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.
